What is Relate?

Relate Worcestershire is an independent charity and is affiliated to the national Relate federation, whose headquarters are in Doncaster. As an organisation, Relate has had over 70 years' experience in training new counsellors to help clients with their relationship problems. Currently there are around 80 Relate centres in the UK, employing over 2000 qualified counsellors.

Relate Worcestershire is located in the centre of Worcester City. We have around 25 experienced and trained counsellors who work with couples or individuals, who are:

• Experiencing relationship difficulties
• Struggling through a bad patch
• Thinking of splitting up
• Trying to come to terms with the breakdown of their relationship.

We support all areas of the community, young or old, regardless of background, gender or ethnicity.

Relate Worcestershire also has an active Education and Training Department, which can offer Life Skills Training courses to both the public and private sector.

We aim to provide a caring and effective service in a safe environment. We are particularly mindful of the need for complete confidentiality, and will always take note of any instructions you may have about how we are to contact you. We will not reveal confidential information about you to a third party unless someone's personal safety is at risk.
